Sports Meet Inauguration Ceremony.

Pioneer Public School’s annual sports meet was inaugurated in the presence of esteemed guests, teachers and students. The opening ceremony was held on Thursday, Falgun 11, 2079 at the school’s ground. The Chief Guest of the event was Ward Chairman of Bu.Na.Pa-12, Mr. Shambhu Bhattarai, and other guests included Mr. Rajan Shrestha, Principal of Manaslu World College, Dr. Rajesh Bhattarai, Principal of GMS, and Mr. Narayan Timilsina, Principal of Pushpalal School. The school’s own principal, Mrs. Susmita Mainali and school chairperson Permila Kc, Other special guests, Teachers, Parents were also present at the event.

The opening ceremony was a colorful affair with students showcasing their talents in different dance forms choreographed by Mr. Pravin Poudel and Ms. Rojina Rai Mam. The event also included a drill dance performance which enthralled the audience.

The Olympic flame was lit by the school’s house representatives, including the sports teacher, Mr. Santosh Thapa Magar. The flame lighting ceremony symbolized the beginning of the sports meet and the spirit of sportsmanship among the students.

Speaking at the event, the chief guest, Mr. Shambhu Bhattarai encouraged the students to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities along with their academic pursuits. He emphasized the importance of sports in building character, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Mr. Rajan Shrestha, the Principal of Manaslu World College, was one of the esteemed guests present at the annual sports meet of Pioneer Public School. It is mentioned that he also addressed the students at the event and emphasized the importance of sports and education.

Mr. Shrestha encouraged the students to pursue their academic and sporting goals with equal passion and dedication. He highlighted the role of sports in building a strong foundation of discipline, hard work and perseverance which are essential qualities for success in any field. He also stressed the importance of balancing sports and academics, as both are crucial for the holistic development of students.

The sports meet will continue for the next three days, with various sports events and competitions lined up. The school administration has made all the necessary arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of the students participating in the event.
